The project required a standalone, looping slideshow for display at Food History Weekend at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. With no narration, titles, or end slides, the deck needed to silently convey a compelling, educational narrative to a wide audience—including casual museumgoers and academic researchers.
The content explored topics like internet adoption, mobile meal planning, and food-sharing culture. The challenge was to ensure that the story remained intellectually engaging and emotionally resonant—entirely through visual design, without spoken or written context.
