The Brief
Allrecipes enlisted Alexis Franklin to design campaign materials aimed at boosting awareness and engagement among employees for its partnership with Food Lifeline. She expanded the scope beyond simple deliverables—developing a unified visual identity system that gave the campaign clarity, energy, and emotional impact.
Alexis led creative strategy, UX/UI design, and email production—developing responsive, ADA-compliant templates in Adobe XD, then translating them into clean HTML/CSS for deployment. Each module was built for flexibility, with reusable components for hero imagery, CTAs, dynamic messaging, and legal content. She collaborated closely with lifecycle marketing leads to ensure smooth integration with CRM systems and long-term scalability for future campaigns.
The Approach
This was more than a campaign—it was the creation of a brand experience from the ground up. Alexis developed a bold, vibrant design system inspired by the spirit of giving, combining energetic colors, approachable typography, and playful yet purposeful illustrations. Each element worked together to deliver a unified message:
Let’s make a difference in children’s lives—together.
