Design and Develop Branding System

ROLE

TOOLS USED

During 98point6’s strategic shift to a SaaS platform, Alexis served as the sole in-house designer—owning and evolving the brand through a period of significant organizational change. Within just a few months, she updated the brand on the fly and created over 67 marketing materials to support the company’s accelerated go-to-market efforts.

She developed and implemented scalable design systems that maintained consistency, flexibility, and credibility across every touchpoint—from sales collateral and digital templates to conference booths and in-product branding.

Her work positioned 98point6 to speak clearly and confidently to its healthcare audience—while enabling cross-functional teams to move fast without sacrificing polish or cohesion.

The Brief

Following a major strategic pivot from a B2B/B2C hybrid to a SaaS platform, 98point6 downsized its design team and repositioned its messaging. Alexis was tasked with owning and refining the brand—transforming a loosely defined direction into a clear, consistent, and scalable design system.

She was responsible for redesigning all core marketing and product-facing materials, supporting a new go-to-market strategy, and building systems that could support non-designers in producing consistent, on-brand content.

The Approach

With a focus on clarity and adaptability, Alexis developed two parallel brand systems: one for external marketing, and one for the product experience. She implemented clean layouts, refreshed the color palette, refined iconography, and scaled typography to improve accessibility and usability.

Email templates were built in HTML/CSS, optimized via A/B testing, and deployed in SendGrid. For the sales and partnerships team, she created a modular library of over 67 assets—empowering non-designers to produce materials quickly while maintaining visual consistency.
